TitleAn annuity:
Copy will of Elizabeth Jolley of Cartledge widow; to daughter Mary Lee widow, an annuity of £15 part of a larger sum of £40 issuing from the estate of John Revell late of Ogston; to son Samuel Jolley, all copyhold lands at or near Cartledge upon condition that if Samuel marries, his choice of wife is to be approved by my loveing friend, Rev. William Bell; if the condition is not met, then testator leaves the copyhold lands to sons John, Joseph, and Edward, and daughters Elizabeth Walker and Mary Lee; to son John, £5; to son Edward, £20; to Edward, son of Edward, £10; to daughter Mary Lee £5; to son Joseph, release of all debts from him to testator on condition that Joseph releases to Francis Cook, Richard Johnson, Christopher Child and William Jepson all suits and actions between them and testator; if Joseph fails to meet this condition, then all sums owed by him are to go to Samuel, son of testator, who is also appointed executor; to said Samuel, residue of real and personal estate.
