Description
As farming interest considerably brightened since he (W Longsdon) left England, Trustees have received several applications for remainder of land at Little Longstone which cannot ignore - therefore requested to ask WILLIAM if is is convenient to increase purchase. Requests decisive answer so that Executors may be released from promise to retain the back lands should William decline to be a present purchaser.
Lands particularised as entered on their valuation separating back from front land should whole be more than William contemplates to add to his estate.
Over leaf: Cow pasture, Square Lees, Long Lees, Upper Square Lees, Upper Lees (Plumpton) - Mr Burley offers £2,100 for this lot 29.3.5.
Stonepit Lees and top, Upper and Lower Riotts, Scratter Close, Riott Common, Upper and Lower Ridge Flat, Ashton Common 25.0.28 £1900 - or both lots for £4000.
Endorsed answered 12 November 1828 under cover to L&H, Liverpool.
