Title	21 September 1811 Father to James Longsdon. Writer has settled many accounts to reciprocal satisfaction. Now taking stock. New man to manage carding which proceeding. Writer approves F [Finch] by regulating machinery produced more work so they can spin nearly whole of their consumption at Longstone. Nothing on sales since he left London. Fear James will find Habgoods not maintained prices he expected but hope they continue to make sales on solid ground. No details from Manchester. William ill.
