Title	William Longsdon at Manchester to his father, James Longsdon, senior, at Longstone, thanking his father for his letter and stating his willingness to comply. Manchester has been in great agitation from 11 o'clock yesterday after the arrival of 2 expresses from London. Two houses are expected to stop, of more consequence to this town than anything so far. There has been no confirmation today. The stoppage of Devayne's House does not affect Longsdons much. Warrington Bank which drew on them had been aware of their misfortune and provided for it.
