Description
Photograph of 24 girls in costumes, some wearing sashes, some holding garden rakes. The board on which the print is mounted bears the signature of W H Statham and is stamped "The Studio, Matlock Bridge". Notes accompanying the photograph indicate that it dates from the performance of a play called The Reapers by the girls of Matlock Town Church of England Primary School and name one of the girls specifically as Miss F E Mitchell.
