Administrative History
This secondary school was founded in 1931 in a house which had been occupied by George Stephenson. On the reorganisation of secondary education in Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire, it became part of Hasland Hall Community School and the buildings ceased to be used as a school in July 1993.
Custodial History
These records were transferred to the Record Office at various dates between 1991 and 2000.
