Description
Bequeathing:
(i) all his personal estate and effects, plate, linen, china, etc to his wife Sarah for her natural life
(ii) £30 to his son John (then in America)
(iii) £140 each to his daughters Mary Ann, wife of Samuel Radford, and Sarah Lowe, 12 months after the death of his wife
(iv) a set of drawers, sofa, two mahogany tables, 6 chairs, clock, bedsteads, feather bed, bolsters and pillows
(v) rest of personal estate to his son Henry Sarah Lowe and George Hill and Wheatcroft, Matlock, farmer are appointed executors
Probate granted at Derby District Probate Registry on 19 Sep 1860.
