DescriptionEach day is divided into shifts of 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am with details for each shift of sergeant in charge, police constables and their patrol or beat point, any visits. Also recorded is the day and night inspectors' time spent on clerical duties, detective duties, motor patrol, leave or sickness, and the daily state, i.e. numbers of officers on duty, sick, leave, detachment, vacancies, and authorised strength.
