Administrative History
The parish of Codnor and Loscoe was formed in 1844 from parts of the parishes of Denby and Heanor and part of the township of Ripley, at that date still part of the parish of Pentrich. Parts of the parish were transferred to the new parishes of Ironville in 1850 and Loscoe in 1927, at which date the parish was renamed Codnor.
Custodial History
These records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office in May 1990 and May 1996.
