Administrative History
The church was built in the 1880s as a mission church of Shirland and was known as Stonebroom Iron Church. It bacame a separate parish in 1910, with the addition of a small part of the parish of Tibshelf. Stonebroom itslef was a coal-mining village which sprang up in the late 19th century.

These records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office in April 1990 and February 2011.
