Transcript or IndexThe 13 of November Robert Fanshaw the elder came about the Chappell to
doe some Iniurie [injury] therin as I thinke.
The 17 of November the same Robert Fanshaw came to the Chappell when
the Children had new dyned and in threatninge wyse sayd come forth
or I will locke you in the Chappell: and the[y] beinge afrayd came forth
and some lefte their hattes some their books & some their sachels
& they desired him to let them take their things forth of the Chappell
in goinge & cominge after him three or foure several tymes but he
would not: and the lordship did send towe honest men to have
the keye again, but in noe wyse he would p[ar]te with it but
gave them Crooked answers.
The 20 of November his man whose name is yet unknowen bey me
in the morning as the Children weare making their fyer, I beinge
in the over Chappell with one with mee, he thrust The Children
out of the nether Chappell & shut the doore, & I asked him what
he ment by that, & he sayd he would keepe possession there
& I thrust the doore from mee, & he let it open, & sayd it was
sure against his will for to let mee in, for sayd hee, I see
I can make noe good fastnes of it: then at eleaven Clocke
