Description
Pages near the front of the book are endorsed with accounts relating to lead ore, farming, carriage of ore, etc, nd, 1767, 1777-1779.
At the back are accounts of lead ore, slag, bricks and clay carried for Mr White, often from Middleton Dale, some to Chesterfield, giving marks and quantities, 1775-1777.
Part of a copy of a release is bound in at the front as follows: release from Edward and Joseph Foolow to George Nall for £70 of closes in ….dington [? Taddington] in the parish of Bakewell.
Note: Taddington was a chapelry of Bakewell parish.
The binding, which does not provide a full cover to the book, is part of a parchment deed.
