Title
P.L.G. to [-----]: is watching the experiment at the Globe &
Phoenix mine of giving the natives a regular meat ration;
had not realised that this was a common practice on the Rand;
difficulty of obtaining native labour in Rhodesian as the native has insufficient inducements;
perhaps meat will serve to attract more men to the mines.
