Parish of Stanley St Andrew
Administrative History
Originally Stanley was a chapelry in the parish of Spondon and became an independent parish only late in the 19th century. There was, however, a chapel here from early in the medieval period and its surviving registers date from 1675.
A mission church was built at Stanley Common in 1913.
Custodial History
Deposited in Derbyshire Record Office in several consignments, from July 1988 onwards, including February 2022.
