Title
Marriage settlement on the marriage of Richard Manley and Elizabeth Harpur eldest daughter of Sir Henry Harpur of Calke, Bt. by which in consideration of the marriage and £2500, Richard Manley of Lincolns Inn, gent, agrees with Richard Hubbard, citizen and embroiderer of London and James Halsey, citizen and fishmonger of London, that he will not dispose of the sum of £2500 during the marriage without the agreement of the said Elizabeth and that he will assure to Elizabeth for her own use all and singular the goods, apparel and jewels she shall bring with her at the time of their marriage, and also to make a conveyance of all such lands, tenements and hereditaments he has in the kingdom, to the use of Richard and Elizabeth and the heirs of their two bodies lawfully begotten, in default to the use and behoof of said Elizabeth her heirs and assigns.
