Marriage settlement between Richard Rowse, senior, of Stathern, Leics, to Thomas Dodd of Eastwell clerk and Henry Greane and Joan Whittle, by which in consideration of a marriage between James Rowse his son and Mary Dodd daughter of Thomas Dodd, Rowse has enfeoffed to Dodd, Green and Whittle, all his messuages or tenement in Stathern and 7 bovates of land etc belonging: to the use of Richard Rowse for life with remainder to the use of James and Mary and the lawful male issue of James, with remainder after death of Mary and default of such issue to the use of Nicholas Rowse his son and lawful male issue: in default of issue remainder to the use of the right heirs of Richard Rowse
