Title
Marriage settlement on the marriage of Clement Varnam son of George Varnam, and Alice Eglysone daughter of Cuthbert Eglyson of Wolfscote, Warwicks, by which George Varnam agrees to levy a fine to Cuthbert Eglyson, Edward Pell, Hugh Ladde and William Skott, of a messuage or tenement, 4 closes and 3 yardlands in Lilbourne, to the use of George Varnam for life, then one moiety to the use of Anne Varnam his wife for life, then to the use of Clement Varnam and Alice for life and the heirs male of Clement by Alice, in default to the use of the right heirs of George Varnam: the other moiety to the use of Clement Varnam after the death of George Varnam, then to the use of the heirs male of Clement by Alice, in default to the use of Alice for life, then to the use of the right heirs of George Varnam.
