Disclaimer by William Poole, Matthew Pippen, Edward Buswell and Thomas Bosworth, freeholders in Clipston, to George Buswell kt of all their rights of common in the fields of Newbold, following a judgment in the Court of Common Pleas in favour of Sir George Buswell against Matthew Pippen, reciting that "whereas within the parish of Clipston there is and time out of mind hath been an ancient town now decayed and depopulated called Nobald alias Noball and several lands and tenements of Nobald distinguished into three several fields".
