Title | Family settlement between Christopher Horton of Catton, Esq, and Frances his wife, Clement Kinnersley of Uttoxeter, esq, Sir Walter Wagstaff Bagott of Blithfield Hall, bart, and Sir Robert Burdett of Foremark Hall, bart, (reciting deed of 20 January 1727 between Christopher Horton, Frances his wife, only daughter and heir of Sir Eusebius Buswell of Cadeby, Leices, bart., Clement Kinnersley, Thomas Gresley of Drakelow, bart, Godfrey Clarke of Chilcote esq, Bagott and Burdett, Dame Frances Chester wife of Charles Adderley of Hamms Hall, Warwicks, and John Kinnersley of Badger, Salop, esq, by which Horton and wife agreed to levy a fine before Hilary Term of the manor of Catton, capital messuage in Catton and all messuages, lands, tenements etc belonging in Catton, Walton-on-Trent, Tatenhill and Barton-under-Needwood, and capital messuage at Cadeby, and all other messuages, land etc at Cadeby, Market Bosworth, Naseby, Newbold Verdon and Osbaston, and the manor of Clipston and Newbold with all messuages etc belonging in Clipston, Newbold and Kelmarsh, Northants, and all other cottages, messuages, lands etc in East Farndon, Great Oxedon, Braybrook, Kelmarsh and Marston Truswell, to various uses) by which Christopher and Frances Horton agree with Clement Kinnersley that before the end of Hilary Term they will levy to him a fine of all the messuages etc limited in indenture of 1727, to the use of Christopher Horton for life, then to the use of Bagott and Burdett for 99 years to allow Frances Horton to receive the rents and profits.
