Bargain and sale by William Saunders of Welford, Northants, gent, to Henry Lomley of Clipston, gent, son and heir of Elizabeth Lomley one of the daughters and heirs of James Harryngton. kt. dec'd, for diverse sums of money, of three parts of the manor of Clipston with a third part of the advowson of the church and chantry of Clipston and Newbold - purchased of Maures Osborne and the same Henry Lomley - sometimes called Pilkyngton's Land, clear yearly value of 53s 2d; also all his other lands, tenements and hereditaments in Clipston and Newbold which he has by the will of his father Edward Saunders, called Isham Land, clear yearly value of £5 6s 8d; also all such messuages, tenements, in Clipston and Newbold purchased of Maures Osborne in the occupation of William Smyth, Peter Geffreyson, Richard Rawlyn, Roger Hull and John Hull, yearly value of 35s 6d; also all such lands and tenements bought of William Hatton, gent, called Haldenbys Land in Clipston and Newbold now in the tenure of Henry Lomley; £3 6s 8d yearly value: in recompense whereof and for diverse sums of money Lomley has bargained and sold to Saunders, all his part of the manor of Brikesworth with all lands, tenements etc and part of the chantry of Brikesworth, yearly value of £15.
