Title
Deed of exchange between William Sannders of Wellford, Northants, gent, and Henry Lumley of Clipston, gent, son and heir of Elizabeth Lumley, one of the daughters and heirs of James Harrington kt dec'd, by which for diverse sums of money, Sannders has bargained and sold to Lumley, three parts of the manor of Clipston, with the advowson of a third part of the church and chantry of Newbold and Clipston, also his manor in Clipston called the Childe Manor and all other hereditaments in Clipston which he has by will or gift of Edward Sannders, also land in Clipston called Holdenbey Land purchased of William Hatton in Clipston and Newbold, in exchange for all his part of the manor of Brixworth and part of the advowson of the chantry of Brixworth, to be yearly value of £28. Dated 1 July 21 Henry VIII [1529]
