Title
Deed of apportionment between Augustine Hawford of Clipston, husbandman, Samuel Hawford of Clipston, husbandman, Matthew Hawford of Clipston, husbandman, and Roger Hawford of Clipston, husbandman reciting that their uncle John Hawford of Kegworth died seised in the manor called Verdons or Pilkingtons Manor at Clipston and several other lands in Clipston: now agreed that
(a) Augustine Hawford shall hold part of the pasture called Inlandes, as is "stored", part of a close called Paynes Close, part of a meadow called Droverswaye
(b) Samuel Hawford shall hold all those Ten Lees, parcel of the Inlandes and part of the meadow called Drovers Way
(c) Matthew Hawford shall hold part of the Inlandes and part of the Drovers Way
(d) Roger Hawford shall hold part of the Inlandes and part of the Drovers Way. Dated 1 March 4 James I [1607]
