Copy marriage settlement between William Lynnett al Lynnell of Hasselbitch, yeoman, Richard Brookes of Kingsthorpe, Northants, yeoman, and George Lynnett al Lynnell of Sibertofte, Northants, yeoman, in consideration of a marriage between Edward Lynnett son of William Lynnett and Dorothie Gregory daughter of Clement Gregory of Rushton and for a competent jointure for Dorothie, by which Lynnett has enfeoffed to Brookes and Lynnett, all that messuage and tenement with lands etc (one and a half yard lands) belonging in Hasselbitch: the messuage and a moiety of the land to the use of Edward Lynnett and Dorothie and their lawful issue: in default to William Lynnett second son of William Lynnett and his lawful issue; in default to use of William Lynnett the father: the other moiety of the land to the use of Edward Lynnett and his lawful issue by Dorothy, in default of the use of the heirs of the body of Edward Lynnett, in default to the use of William Lynnett second son of William Lynnett and his lawful issue, and in default to the use of William Lynnett the father.
