Administrative History
Bradwell was part of the parish of Hope until 1875. The church of St Barnabas was built in 1868 and covered Abney, Great and Little Hucklow, Grindlow, Wardlow and Hazlebadge. The parish of Bradwell was formed in 1875.

The records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office in July 1987 and May 1989.
