Archive CreatorParish of Ironville Christ Church
Administrative HistoryIronville was formed as an ecclesiastical parish in 1850 from parts of Alfreton, Pentrich, Heanor, Codnor and Selston (Nottinghamshire). Codnor Park, though a separate township, is in the ecclesiastical parish. The church was built by the Butterley Company in 1852. There were Mission Churches, now closed down, at Stoneyford, Holy Trinity and Golden Valley, St Matthias.
Custodial HistoryThese records were deposited in Derbyshire Record Office on various occasions beginning in May 1987.
