Fabric-covered album: 'Ellen Sharples 1866 Crest-Album' containing hand painted and decorated pages into which are glued small crests, monograms, insignias and coats of arms. Tucked into the front is a letter in German from Princess Alice, later Grand Duchess of Hesse and by Rhine, on letter headed paper for the Alice Frauenverein fur Krankenpflege [Alice Women's Association for Nursing], 1870.
