Administrative History	The Fox family of Derby, later of Thurlston Grange and Osmaston Hall) owned property in Derby, Church Gresley, Repton and Trusley. In 1799 Samuel Fox of Derby married Ann Darwin of Osmaston Hall, who was related to Erasmus Darwin FRS. A genealogy of the family can be downloaded below.
Custodial History	D303/1-30 were deposited with Derbyshire Record Office between 1964 and 1967. D303/31 was donated to Derbyshire Record Office by a different person in April 2024.
