Description
Desires burial in the churchyard of St Mary, Elvaston and 3 lbs of wax to be burned round his body as a mortuary. Gives 13d to Aston Church, 2 ewes to John Wynfeld, to Robert (Thomas's son) a cloak, to Elias and Ralph (his other sons) goods not otherwise bequeathed. Executors: Joan his wife, Robert Claver his brother, Surveyor, Thomas Grene. Proved at Lichfield, 6 May 1493 in the commissary court of Lichfield, in front of Richard Roston, commissary general.
