Bakewell Methodist Junior School
Administrative History
Bakewell Methodist Junior School was founded as the Bakewell Wesleyan School in 1867, taking children of all ages. In 1932 on the reorganisation of education in Bakewell, the school became the junior mixed school for the area, the infants were transferred to a separate department and the seniors were transferred to the National School Senior Department. In 1933 the school became the Bakewell Methodist Junior School.
