Release by William Mallalieu of Swallows Rest, pa Ockbrook, esq and Herbert Brooke Taylor of Bakewell, solicitor, and his wife Mary Taitt Taylor, nee Mary Taitt Mallalieu to Thomas Barham Foster of John Dalton Street, Manchester, civil engineer, and John Taylor, formerly of Bakewell and now of Ilkley, Yorks, solicitor.

Description
Mallalieu and the Taylors are the residuary legatees under the will of Revd William Mallalieu, and Foster and Taylor are the remaining executors and trustees.
Recites will of Revd William Mallalieu of 97 Hatton Garden, Middx and of Ockbrook dated 30 Jan 1871:
wife Harriet, T B Foster and J Taylor exors and trustees;
Harriet, J Taylor and Revd Joseph Jackson
Shawe, now decd, as guardians;
land in Ockbrook with house to Harriet;
2 annual rents as of £25 18s 8d each and 2 annual rents of £97 2s each assured on land in Ockbrook to provide £149 annuity for cousin Henry Martin Mallalieu and £2200 on death property in St Mary Axe, London and in Edmonton, Middx to son William and issue, in default to daughter, Mary Taitt Mallalieu now M T Taylor and issue, in default to nephew Frank William Mallalieu and issue, in default to trustees as part of main estate
on trust for 21 years with interest to wife, then divided absolutely 3/4 to son William and 1/4 to daughter Mary with annuities of £800 to wife, £50 to Elizabeth wife of Henry Martin Mallalieu, £20 to Henrietta Mary Schwartz, £100 to trustees to Henry Martin Mallalieu; £500 each in trust for Harriet Susan Moxon, Charlotte Jane Moxon, James Montgomery Mallalieu, Thomas Mallalieu; £1000 to Janetta Mallalieu and in default to Frank William Mallalieu
