Description	Items separately numbered D2908/3/1-9, comprising: D2908/3/1 Copy entries of baptisms, marriages, and burials from Chapel-en-le-Frith parish registers. (1623-1736) D2908/3/2 Deed by freehold farmers and inhabitants of Bowden Edge, Bradshaw Edge, Bugsworth, Chinley and Brownside who agree that two or more Handmills for grinding malt shall be erected and set up in the places previously mentioned. It includes a large list of names of the subscribers. 7 Mar 1754 D2908/3/3 Receipt for rent from John and William Morley, 1764 D2908/3/4 Copy lease between Governors of Saint Thomas' Hospital and John and Christopher Heath for Coal mines and veins in the manor of Tibshelf for £500 for 21 years. 1771 D2908/3/5/1-2 Receipts for rent due to St Thomas's Hospital, 1780-1781 D2908/3/6 Notice of service for 'Sons of the Clergy' (charity), 1807 D2908/3/7 Draft letters relating to rent due and rent not paid, 1803 D2908/3/8 Advertising leaflet for private tuition of reading, writing, arithmetic, history, geography, Latin and Greek etc by Mr and Mrs Coates of Worksop (Notts), 19th cent D2908/3/9 Letter addressed to 'Rev See Smith Em Ha - Barlow'. (Rev. C i.e. Courtney Smith was in post as vicar of Great Barlow parish by 1846 but was no longer there in 1860). The author of the letter offers him advice on what he ought to do and not do in his role as vicar. 1840's-1850's
