Description
Endorsed with a note addressed to Mr ?Crumton that the writer understands that his wife's maid was assured to his man who was drowned and therefore asks the addressee's opinions as to whether she should have his goods.
Inside are doodles chiefly consisting of names and including "By me John Drayton" and the first words of an indenture dated 8 Nov in 26th year of…[if of the reign of Elizabeth, this would be 1584].
