DescriptionD2687/1/2/1: Memorandum of agreement by which Arthur James Macdonald Bentley of the Junior Conservative Club, Albemarle Street, Westminster, doctor of medicine charged his interest under the will of his father Charles Thomas Bentley with repayment of costs incurred by Hutchison and Cuff of 47 Chancery Lane, London, solicitors on Bentley's behalf, charging also all interest to be vested in him under will or intestacy of mother Eliza with repayment. Dated 28 Feb 1908

D2687/1/2/2: Charge by A J M Bentley as in D2687/1/2/1 of his interest in the business of Stevenson and Company carried on at Cairo in Egypt, subject to a first mortgage of £300 to John Ross, member of John Ross & Co of Alexandria, Egypt, with payment to Hutchison and Cuff (see D2687/1/2/1) of sum due to them. Dated 19 Oct 1904

D2687/1/2/3: Letter from George H Stephenson on paper headed Stephenson & Co Pharmaceutical Chemists ... Opera Square, Cairo, and addressed to Dr Bentley, writing that in view of Bentley's debt to Mr John Ross and of his agreement with ?Mr A Hutchison dated 19 Oct 1904 for costs due to him to be paid by this pharmacy, Stephenson would take over these debts and guarantee payment in consideration of Bentley handing over his interest in this pharmacy. At foot, Bentley's agreement. Dated 31 Dec 1904
