John Swerde of Chesterfield, deceased, had enfeoffed the two burgages to the said Richard, together with John Thomson, deceased, on 17 Mar 1487.
The attached document (in English) of Richard Hethcott who, in performance of the will of John Swerde of Chesterfield, deceased, releases it to the alderman of Chesterfield {Asshe] and his successors who are to pay 6 pence yearly to pay for the soul of John Swerde and to use the remaining revenues of property for the maintenance of the church of Chesterfield
