Title
Christian - is very sensible of the loss of John Sladen in carrying up the sough - the business cannot proceed until Gell puts in an answer to his mother's bill - the Commons have heard of his Royal Highness [James, Duke of York] being married by proxy to the Duchess of Medina - the Fairfax, a 72 gun frigate, broke her back near Gravesend, 7 merchantmen taken in James River, Virginia and burnt 5 with 5715 heads of tobacco.
