To be buried in the church, before the altar of St Helen - to the high altar, his best pair of altar cloths - 2s to the cathedrals of Coventry and Lichfield - to the cathedral of Lincoln, 13s 4d to the use of the Virgin and St Hugh - to the said cathedral, 40d for the churchyard - for repairs to Wirksworth Church, 20d - for repairs to the belfry of Wirksworth Church, 12d - to the church of All Saints, Gainsborough 6s 8d - for the upkeep of the images of the Virgin in the aisle at Wirksworth, all oblations left there - to any outside priest 5d and to any Wirksworth priest 6d - to any rector 10d and any vicar 8d - to the 2 parish clerks 8d - to his brother William, 4 silver vases and 40 sheep with all debts which William owes him - to Thomas Smyth, son of William, 4 silver vases, 2 cows, the value of a wooden lectionary, 3 brass pots, 3 bowls, 3 sakers, 3 dishes, 3 pewter plates and 40 sheep and lambs - to the chapel of Cromford, 2 sheep - to the chapel of Alderwasley, 2 sheep - to Mr Richard Vernan, a silver standing bowl with a gilded foot, with a silver and gilded lid - to Robert Babyngton, his godson, a silver and gold crucifix, enclosing a relic - to all his godsons and god-daughters, a lamb and the value of 5 oxen - Mr Thomas Babyngton, Mr James Basford and John Gell to be his executors
