Thomas Gell to his nephew John Gell - received the bill of exchange for £100 - his servant Thomas Gell had £200 of his invested at interest, £100 to certain Melbourne men and £100 lent to Mr Powtrell of West Hallam -has never received a penny on either sum for principal or interest - has written to his servant, who has been using his money without his knowledge - to go to Gell and bring any of his bonds - the matter must be kept quiet. 15 Nov
