This map is described in the Derbyshire Record Society's "A Catalogue of Local Maps of Derbyshire c.1528–1800" (compiled by Harold Nichols, revised by Mary Wiltshire assisted by Susan Woore, published 2012). The description reads as follows:
Griffe Grange lead mining map showing veins in work. 1725. Scale: of 10 chains [1:5250]. Size: 40 x 30 cm. Materials: ink on paper, partly coloured green. Centred on:SK244559 Notes: north at top. Shows gates, adjoining moors and pastures. Location DRO, D258/17/24/3
