Letter - John Bridges at Warwick Castle to Sir John Gell, Commander in chief of the forces at Lichfield [Staffs] - has sent 4 messengers since yesterday morning but they dare not venture out for fear of Col. Hasting's soldiers - The forces here are not above 500 strong - if Prince Rupert comes this way, he will endeavour to let Gell know - asks to dismiss Capt.
