Parish of Langley Mill St John (Chapel of Ease), Aldercar
Administrative History
This chapel of ease dedicated to St John and covering the township of Langley within the parish of Heanor, was built in 1870. It was then subordinate to Heanor. A new church was built at Langley Mill in 1912. (For records of this see D1113). Aldercar is now a chapel of ease to Langley Mill.
Custodial History
These documents were deposited between August 1972 and June 1996. List added to catalogue as part of the FindersKeepers project with the help of Elissa Rowe .
