Title
Copy will of Robert Toplis of Heanor, gent;
an undivided moiety of seven closes in Long Eaton (an allotment in Cramflatt Field under Long Eaton enclosure award) 72 acres 1 rood 18 perches bequeathed to the uses expressed in a surrender to Sawley Manor Court dated 17 April 1757, namely to the use of the heirs of Mary his late wife (Thomas Hopkins of Long Eaton, esquire);
all his messuages, cottages, closes, tithes, hereditaments and real estate in Heanor bequeathed to his son Charles Toplis and his heirs;
a messuage and tanyard in Newthorpe, Nottinghamshire, to William Toplis his grandson;
£500 to his son Charles Toplis;
£600 each to his daughters Ann wife of George Oldham, Dorothy wife of Benjamin Drawwater, Elizabeth wife of Charles Antill and if any of them should pre-decease him the money to be shared equally among her children;
£1100 to his daughter Rebecca (altered to £600 by codicil dated 3 April 1792 following her marriage);
£100 to his grandson Robert John Toplis
