Title
Copy will of Jonathan Cope of Heanor, school- master: his brother Robert Cope and brother in law William Blunt to be his executors: to his cousin John York £5;
to Edward Allen son of John Allen his godson, cousin John Cope, cousin Richard York, cousin Mary Boam, cousin Hannah Walker and cousin John Dawson, 1 guinea each;
all his messuages, lands, etc to his executors for 6 years in trust to pay debts and legacies;
messuage or tenement in Heanor occupied by William Glazebrook and a close of land called the Holes, to his sister Hannah wife of William Blunt for life, then to the use of Jonathan Blunt his nephew;
all his other messuages, lands and hereditaments to the use of his brother Robert Cope for life, then to his lawful male issue;
in default of issue to the use of John York upon trust for £200 for his sister Hannah for life, then from her decease to the use of Jonathan Blunt his heirs and assigns;
if Robert Cope has no sons at the time of Jonathan's death, but one daughter, then John York shall by demise or sale raise the sum of £60 to be paid to her on her twenty first birthday or at the time of her marriage;
if more than one daughter then to raise the sum of £100 to be divided equally between them 20 April
