My dear Sir
Your poor (Typhoid) Patient, Mrs Swindell, has promised to go to Cromford to her sister's tomorrow, Saturday, or Sunday. She says she has more relish or less disrelish for the food sent her. But her feet and ancles [sic] have begun to swell: & she does not seem to gather strength.
Yr faithful servt
F. Nightingale
