TitleCopy petition Edward Lowe to Charles I Recalling that, at his own expense, he had fitted out his eldest son with a troop of horse in the service of Charles I, in which his other 5 sons served as officers, as a result of which his house and lands were sorely plundered by the parliamentary troops, and asking for the sequestration of the estates of the plunderers in compensation for the damage suffered by him. With a list of depredations committed by the troops of Colonel Gell and others in 1642, to the value of £2555 13s. 4d
