Title | Agreement Between John Lowe of Alderwaslee and the Rt. Hon. William, Earl of Yarmouth. For the purchase by the Earl of Lowe's share in a sough called Long Sough on Cromford Moor and of all his share in the groves and lead mines which benefit from the sough and of which he is owner as sough master. In consideration of 10 guineas to be paid to Lowe at the time of the agreement and which he is to retain if the Earl does not complete the purchase, and of £129 5s. to be paid upon completion. Lowe is not to convey the groves and mines which he has as a miner, but only such as he holds in right of the said sough 28 Jun 1687 |
