Administrative History
It is unclear what the purpose of the map is or who it was created for. Most of the plots are numbered so there was presumably a survey. It is unclear if the map was produced for the parish (there is no corresponding survey in the archives for the parish of Heanor St Lawrence (D1632) or Codnor St James (D3374). It is also possible it is an estate map.
