Description
Containing: Lists of members for each class in the circuit. Total numbers of members for each class. Accounts of collections, including annual subscriptions, the Mission, the Preacher’s Fund, the Conference, Chapel collections and Kingswood and Woodhouse. Kingswood and Woodhouse were schools; the latter perhaps being Horsley Woodhouse Sunday School. Memorandum that certain young people, having taken “offence about money matters being mentioned….are gone to the Ranters”, 12 Jul 1820. Memorandum on flyleaf that the preachers agree to re-occupy Mr Slater’s chapel on condition that Methodism “in all its branches” be exercised without interruption during his lifetime, 5 Oct 1822
