Title
Heanor coal leases, 19th cent; Winster title deed, 1702
Date
1702-1845
Description
These documents relate chiefly to coal mining in Heanor, Pinxton, Codnor and Loscoe in the early to mid-19th century. A legal opinion in 1840 on a proposal to extend Heanor colliery railway across the Erewash canal to a wharf on the Nottingham canal is included (D2487/5).
