TitleSettlement by way of Isaac and release prior to the marriage of Thomas Garratt of Uttoxeter (co. Stafford) gent., son and heir of Francis Garratt deceased, to Hannah daughter of John Hayne of Uttoxeter gent. whereby Garratt conveys to Hayne and to Thomas Garratt of Middleton by Youlgreave yeoman premises as in D239 M/T 382-383 and D239 M/T 396-97 upon the following trusts: a moiety to the use of Garratt for life, then to Hannah for life, with remainder to the eldest son of their bodies in tail male, and in default of heirs male to the daughters of their bodies and their heirs, as tenants in common, and in default of such heirs to the right heirs of Thomas Garratt a moiety to the use of Garratt for life with remainder to the heirs of the bodies of Thomas and Hannah, in default of issue to the heirs of the body of Thomas, and in default of such issue to the right heirs of Thomas.
