DescriptionComment on Perrin's agitation at the 'slave trade' [trade in enslaved African peoples]; they have received powers of attorney for the Mount Pleasant and Friendship plantations adjoining Blue Mountain which will mean that the question of the stream which they share may now be settled; report on Blechynden's continuing suit; propose visiting Retrieve soon to see what can be made of it; enclose a valuation and list of the 'negroes' [Black peoples] and land purchased from Cammac (D239/M/E/17036).
